2017 Pinot Noir

89 points Purely Domestic Wine Report

"The nose is hard red stone fruit, herb and licorice with whiffs of sandalwood. The palate entry is dry and lean with a mouth-coating cranberry texture. Well-focus acidity." 89 points Purely Domestic

Pearly Everlasting NV

This wine was crafted from a blend of Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gris from our estate vineyards, including wines fermented in both stainless steel tanks and French oak barrels. The nose is filled with honey, wildflowers and chamomile. The taste is bright and fresh with honeydew, citrus and minerally with a mouthwatering finish. We love this wine for its complexity, and easily pairs will with salads, fruit and cheese plates as well as all sorts of fish.

Our flagship Pinot Noir selection brings you the quintessential wine from Winter's Hill Estate: Red fruit and berry flavors and aromas supported by smooth, rounded tannins. The warm days and cool, breezy nights help the fruit ripen slowly, with freshness and structure that can age in your cellar for many years.

2013 Pinot Noir 50 Years of Adventures

89 Points-Wine Enthusiast

“Just three barrels of this reserve were produced, commemorating the owners’ half century together. Spicy and tight, with the ample acidity of the 2013 vintage, its fruit suggests hard raspberry candy, with elements of peppery herb and stiff tannins. Give it extra aeration, or cellar.” Paul Gregutt

2016 Pinot Noir

Year’s Best US Pinot Noir-Wine & Spirits

92 points-PinotFile

“The winery’s flagship selection that includes 100% estate fruit. · Moderately light garnet color in the glass. Persistent aromas of fresh strawberry, cranberry, blueberry, iron and mulling spices. Fresh and juicy in the mouth, with charming mid weight flavors of strawberry, raspberry and blueberry. The gossamer tannins add to the appeal as does the lengthy, lip-smacking finish. Score: 92” PinotFile.

2017 Pinot Noir Watershed

The warm red slopes of our vineyard nourish deep-rooted vines managed for low, intensely flavored yields. Only hand-picked fruit from our estate are used in our wines. Our own roots in this soil stretch from 1961 when John and Lena Winter resettled from Illinois bringing the wrought iron hinges that now grace our cellar door.

Our Watershed Pinot Noir reflects both our stewardship of the land, and the constant change and renewal that we find in wine-making and tending our vines. The small towns of Dayton and Lafayette obtain their drinking water from springs and wells in two forested parcels in the Dundee Hills. Winter's Hill Estate shares a common boundary with both of these watersheds, and that knowledge reinforces our commitment to being environmental stewards of our land and good neighbors to our community.

2019 Rose of Pinot Noir Magnum

This Rosé was fermented in French oak to give the wine more flavor and complexity. The wine pops out of the glass with notes of cherry, watermelon, fresh flowers, lime zest and a hint of toast. The flavors are bright and fresh cherry, lime, orange zest with a hint of minerality. The wine finishes with mouthwatering acidity, and a hint of tannins from the oak barrels.

Magnum is 1.5L or 2 bottles of wine.
